First time for me as a Catholic. Being only 3 years into it, I have had the same priest all that time. Should be interesting to say the least. Fr. Maurice was much loved by many adults and ALL the kids. Of course looking like Santa helps. He was much... liked less... by many other adults. Comes with the habit I guess. I'll miss him.

The new priest is Fr. Dismas. Met him on the way into adoration last Friday night. Seems pretty nice. Good sense of humor from what I could tell. We didn't make it to our regular Mass times last weekend, so I don't know what kind of Mass he does. I just pray we don't get any tom-foolery. Fr. Maurice could be counted on to deliver a pro-life or Real Presence homily when required. He is pretty solid in proclaiming those things.

Hope Fr. Dismas will be too...
